Ornare is a leading Brazilian luxury design company with a decades-long tradition of craftsmanship. Ornare specializes in unique, high-quality, sophisticated and fully customizable Closets, Kitchens and Bathrooms. Our Dallas showroom is located in the Dallas Design District, on Hi Line Drive. We are looking for an Outside Sales Rep. to join our team in the next months.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·         “Get the new projects” using various customer sales methods 

·         Understand the market and who the important players (interior designers, architects, home builders, developers and realtors) are in the market

·         Identify the potential partners/ clients

·         Define strategies to present value added to potential partners/ clients

·         Meet and introduce potential partners/ clients to Ornare and its products lines 

·         Build the relationship with established partners by providing them with service, ongoing visits, invitations to events, and keeping them up to date on products

·         Organize gatherings to network

·         Attend networking events

·         Meet with Director to present goals, results and review weekly agenda

·         Warmly greet clients/visitors, walk them through the showroom and show all Ornare products

·         Other duties as assigned

 

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

·         Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, interior design, ergonomics, construction or related field with proven track record in sales

·         Ability to write proposals and reports, understand contracts, and present results

·         Ability to analyze floor plans

·         Ability to apply common sense understanding and problem solving in everyday situations

·         Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), internet

·         A persuasive and personable communication style

·         Sees and grasps opportunities for new business

·         Persistent and tenacious; not discouraged by “no”

·         Builds relationships based on trust

·         Presents ideas clearly and educates partners/ clients in a patient and polite manner

       ·         Engages others easilys.
